专利说明:
Description: The invention relates to a method for the production of back-glued booklets, wherein a printing material web printed on at least one side or a sheet printed on at least one side is provided by means of a folding device with at least one fold to form a signatures which are folded at least once and each have a fold back and in the case of an at least single folded substrate web to produce at least single folded signatures the substrate web is cross-cut, and wherein the at least single folded signatures dammed by means of at least one delivery tape to form a scale flow and fed to the stitching back associated Falzrücken beforehand a saddle stitcher, and wherein The signatures are stitched together in the saddle stitcher to form a booklet, wherein the Falzrücken be glued by means of a glue applied to a book spine. From the prior art, the production of booklets from individual signatures is known. There are different possibilities. A relatively expensive method is to place the individual sections or signatures of the book on top of each other to apply a glue to the future spine to secure the individual signatures together. Partially this is the Falzrücken milled, so that the individual, no longer held together by the respective Falzrücken sheets are glued to a booklet. A much simpler option is the production of stitched staples at the back, since this eliminates the technically relatively complex application of adhesive. Furthermore, it is also known that the individual signatures are stacked on a finished booklet by means of a saddle stitcher, so that the book spines of the respective signatures are inserted into one another. The spine is thus formed from the Falzrücken, in particular from the Falzrücken serving as a cover sheet signature. For the production of such back glued booklets, which are also called booklets, different methods for the adhesive application are known from the prior art. Thus, WO 2005/072 980 A2 discloses a method in which the adhesive or the glue is first applied to the corresponding fold backs in the saddle stitcher. A method is also known from US 2001/0 048 862 A1, in which the glue is applied to the corresponding spines when, or immediately before, these are brought together with the seam back up in the saddle stitcher to form a booklet. Also, US 2003/0 044 260 A1 discloses a method in which the glue is applied to the respective spines after the signatures have been applied to the saddle-shaped stations of a saddle stitcher. The invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide a solution with which the glue can be performed as simple as possible and thus cost-effective as well as procedurally reliable. The inventive method is achieved according to claim 1. The inventive method comprises that the glue in the region of the Falzrücken the relevant signatures before the formation of the scale flow is carried on. The inventive method has the advantage that the glue application can thus be performed very easily in easily accessible space. Thus, further available standard components for the glue application can be used, whereby the cost of the inventive device compared to the known from the prior art solutions can be reduced. In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the glue is applied to the signatures immediately after forming the Falzrücken. As a result, a very high quality can be achieved with regard to the position of the adhesive trace as well as with regard to the properties of the adhesive trace, since the position of the signature in this case may not yet be somewhat more undefined as a result of further transport. In particular, this embodiment is particularly advantageous when the Falzrücken is formed as a longitudinal fold and thus parallel to the fiber direction of the printing material, since in this case the web is not isolated in printed webs, which due to the existing web tension an extremely precise position of the web and thus the Leimspur allows. Preferred embodiments of the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims and the description below. Various embodiments of the invention will be described, without being limited thereto, with reference to the drawings. Showing: Fig. 1 is a back-glued, consisting of several signatures issue Fig. 2 shows an apparatus for performing the method, in which the glue application takes place immediately after the formation of a fold Fig. 3 shows an apparatus for performing the method, in which the glue application takes place only after the separation of the web in signatures Fig. 1 shows an exemplary booklet 12, which is also called booklet, and with the inventive method and with the inventive device for carrying out the inventive method can be produced inexpensively. The illustrated in Fig. 1 exemplary booklet 12 consists of a total of 12 pages, the number of pages can be increased almost arbitrarily. This booklet 12 is composed of three signatures 7, wherein each signature 7 exemplifies a 4-pageer. The signatures 7 can also have correspondingly more pages, the signatures 7 then also having more than one fold. Decisive, however, the Falzrücken 4 of each signature 7, which will form the spine 13, which is why in this case the other folds are not taken into account in the further consideration, especially these to obtain a booklet 12 after joining the signatures 7 to a booklet 12th cut open or removed. In the case illustrated in FIG. 1, the three signatures 7 are inserted into one another in such a way that the fold backs 4 of the signatures 7 come to rest on one another and form the book spine 13. In order to achieve a back-glued booklet 12, it is thus necessary that, for example, a glue 14 is applied to the seam ridges 4 of the two internal signatures 7-1 and 7-2 in order to access the three signatures 7-1, 7-2, 7-3 to glue a booklet 12. The gathering of the three signatures 7 to a booklet 12 is usually carried out in a saddle stitcher 11, which the signatures 7 are supplied in a scale flow 8. In particular, if the signatures 7 are printed in so-called printing form-variable printing processes, which are also referred to as digital printing processes, examples being inkjet printing or toner-based printing processes, it is possible to sequentially print the individual signatures 7 sequentially, so that in a shingled stream 8 the each associated with a booklet 12 signatures 7 the saddle stitcher 11 are supplied. This avoids the pre-production of the individual signatures 7 known from the conventional non-printing-form-variable printing methods such as offset or intaglio printing and the feeding of the respective signatures 7 from corresponding stocks, such as stacks or rods. When using printing form variable printing method, it is also possible successively to produce booklets 12 with completely or partially mutually different contents or even divergent page numbers, which is why such printing methods, especially in the production of very small runs are used. In a saddle stitcher 11, the internal signature 7-1 is usually picked up by means of grippers or suckers, applied to a saddle-shaped receptacle, so that the following signature 7-2 can be placed over the first signature 7-1 in the mold so that the folds 4- 1, 4-2 of the two signatures 7-1 and 7-2 are inside each other. Finally, serving as cover sheet or envelope signature 7-3 is inserted in the same form on the signature 7-2. Fig. 2 shows such an exemplary apparatus for producing such booklets 12, although the printing of the web 1 by a printing form variable printing device such as an inkjet printing device is not shown. The at least one side, at least one color printed web 1 runs in the web running direction 2 to the folding device 3 and is provided by means of the folding device 3 with at least one fold. Instead of the web 1, an at least one side, at least monochrome printed sheet of a folding device for forming at least one fold can be supplied, so that from the sheet at least one simply folded, a Falzrücken 4 having signature 7 is formed. In the case of a printed substrate web 1, the web 5, which is folded at least once, is cross-cut by means of a cross-cutting device 6 and singulated into a plurality of signatures 7, thus having at least one fold. In principle, it is also possible here for the printed web 1 to be singled into sheets without being rolled, which is then folded in the connection. In the example shown in FIG. 2, the web 1 is folded once in the longitudinal direction by means of a folding device 3 designed as a former. The printed web 1 can, as stated above, either be printed immediately before or fed from a wound roll. Even the printed sheets can either be pre-printed or fed from a stack. Even after singling the signatures 7 or the sheets can be folded once or more times, so that before the delivery to a conveyor belt 9 at least one simply folded signature 7 is produced with a Falzrücken 4. The folded signatures 7 are dammed up by means of at least one delivery belt to form a shingled stream 8, in which the signatures 7 partially overlap. The shingled stream 8 forming signatures 7 are supplied to the saddle stitcher 4, which forms the book spines 13 in the finished booklet 12, ahead of the saddle stitcher 11. The signatures 7 are picked up by the saddle stitcher 11 and are usually fed to a saddle-shaped device, so that the signatures 7 belonging to a booklet 12 are stacked on top of one another or in one another. The signatures 7 are plugged together in the saddle stitcher 11 to form a booklet 12, wherein the Falzrücken 4-1, 4-2, 4-3 are glued by means of a glue applied 14 to a book spine 13. Since in the scale flow 8, the signatures 7 do not completely cover and since the Falzrücken 4 are not covered, thus according to the invention, the glue 14 is applied before the formation of the scale flow 8 on the signatures 7 in the Falzrücken 4, without it in this case comes to bonds outside the saddle stitcher 11. In the example shown in FIG. 2, the glue trace 15 is produced by applying glue 14 to the folded, not yet singulated web 1 by means of a glueing device 16 immediately after forming the fold back 4. The sizing device 16 is preferably designed as a longitudinal sizing device 16, in which the glue 14 is applied by means of a nozzle in the form of a thin adhesive trace 15, and can thus be carried out very inexpensively. Since it is very easy to implement with such a device to interrupt the adhesive trace 15, the adhesive trace 15 can thus be applied only to the signatures 7, in which this is necessary for the production of a back-glued handle 12, as for example in Fig. 2 for the production of stitches 12 shown in FIG. 1. This embodiment is particularly advantageous if the Falzrücken 4 is formed as a longitudinal fold and thus parallel to the fiber direction of the printing material. This is the case, for example, with funnel folders or so-called plow folding devices 3. As can be seen from Fig. 2, the glue 14 is applied only on one side of the Falzrücken 4 and thus only on one side of the signature 7. This one side is the side of the signature 7, which is not facing the at least one conveyor belt 9 in order to avoid contamination of the conveyor belt 9 or even sticking of the signatures 7 with the conveyor belt 9. Since in the scale flow 8 the signatures 7 do not overlap in the region of the seam ridges 4, the signatures 7 can thus not be bonded in the scale stream 8. The adhesive trace 15 can thus be interrupted due to the application by means of a longitudinal glue, be realized as intermittently executed adhesive trace 15. The interruption refers both to the orders on only relevant signatures 7, but it can also be applied to the respective relevant signatures 7 an interrupted, intermittently executed adhesive trace 15. Preferably, the adhesive trace 15 is recessed in the areas in which the signatures 7 are detected by the grippers of the saddle stitcher 11. Fig. 3 shows the functionally same device as Fig. 2, however, a variant is shown in Fig. 3, in which the glue 14 is applied in the region of the fold back 4 on the signatures 7 after the cross-cutting. This solution is particularly advantageous if after the cross-cutting of the web 1 in individual signatures 7, an additional fold is formed, so that the Falzrücken 4 only exists after the cross-cutting. Furthermore, such a solution is required for the processing of the folding device 3 supplied sheets. Since in this case the signatures 7 in the imbricated stream 8 do not completely overlap, and thus do not overlap in the region of the seam ridges 4, the adhesive trace 15 can thus be applied to the relevant signatures 7 even before the formation of a scale flow 8 without the signatures 7 of FIG Schuppenstromes 8 stick together when the glue 14 is applied only on one side of the Falzrücken 4.
